Curriculum Vitae

Hi, I'm Shamsiddin — a backend developer based in Tashkent. I started programming in August 2024 and have been learning intensively ever since, mostly under the mentorship of Nurulloh Muhammadov. What started as curiosity quickly turned into a real focus on server-side development with Python.

Most of my hands-on experience comes from building Telegram bots with Python and aiogram. My main project is Subtitr Bot — it generates dual-layer subtitles with a floating-vocabulary mode for videos and YouTube links, and has a tariff and payment flow, a background worker queue and a small web mini-app. I've also built Talaba Xizmatlari Bot to help students prepare their independent-study work, Quiz Bot with a PostgreSQL question bank and an admin panel, a desktop version of the subtitle tool together with a Chrome extension, and a small set of bots that connect to my university's LMS. The source code for these lives on my GitHub.

On the backend I mostly work with Python — Django and FastAPI for web APIs, aiogram for bots — together with PostgreSQL for data, Redis and Celery for background tasks, and Docker for deployment. I'm comfortable setting up a Linux server with Nginx from scratch, and I use Git every day. I try to keep my code clean and readable, and I still spend a big part of my time simply learning and building things.

I'm a Software Engineering student at Tashkent University of Information Technologies (TUIT). I was admitted on a state grant with a university-entrance score of 147.60 after finishing an academic lyceum. My background in mathematics helps me a lot with algorithms and problem-solving.

Uzbek is my native language, and I can work comfortably in English and Russian, so I read documentation and learn from resources in all three. Right now I'm looking for an internship or a junior backend position where I can keep growing while contributing to real products.
